The Louise Bailey Webb Scholarship Award

This scholarship is open to 2024 high school graduating seniors who are members of

Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Applicants must complete the application in its entirety to be considered for one of the scholarships. At least two $1,000 scholarships will be

awarded.

Requested information from applicants includes:

1. The completed application form

2. A one-page, single-spaced, typed essay entitled, “Why I Am Deserving of This

Scholarship Award”

3. Two letters of recommendation:

a. From either your high school principal, a teacher, or a counselor

b. From a ministry leader in an area in which you are active at Second Mt. Zion

4. Official high school transcript with the high school’s seal. The transcript must be

sealed in an envelope from the school counselor’s office.

5. Being available for an interview (the Committee will schedule)

The application packet must be submitted by Tuesday, April 30, 2024 (in person or
